Progress on the weight front is... stagnant, really. 196.2 this morning, up from my lowest tracked weight 193.4 on the 10th. Ugh... That pie on Friday night must have murdered my metabolism, and then the chips and crap from Saturday and Sunday... Fml. I've got absolutely no willpower when it comes to food, and that's (obviously) got to change!
Last night I dropped my Lose It! calorie limit to 800 a day instead of 1000. Being able to actually see a bar fill up with my net calories really helps, so hopefully the lower number will help keep me down.
Today's a 282 calorie day, from grapes, lettuce, peaches, and my breakfast smoothie things (73 calories per cup, and surprisingly filling).
My friend K, the one with the eating disorder, is starting to give me funny looks. Today's school lunch was the fruit and these cheesy bread sticks things which I gave to M. As a former Ana she'd know that my lunch was less than 100 calories without the bread. When she commented on it I said I was going out for supper with Dad and would end up eating too much then she just kind of nodded. Oh well. Six more days of cafeteria lunches, and then I'll be out. Lol.
Had to run and work on my math final. PreCalculus sucks. DX And in a few minutes I have to present a PowerPoint for Environmental Science. I like my partner, but we're both awkward and don't talk to each other, so it'll be interesting...

Using calorie tracking apps do help me to focus more on what I'm eating too - but I always end up forgetting to actually use the app! I have a notebook I write my intake in instead :)

DeleteJust make sure that the food you're eating in that 800 limit is nutrient rich. The veggies are a great choice and fill you up with fiber. Too much fruit has the same affect as a candy bar if you have more than the daily limit. Really try to choose based on protein and fiber and all that good stuff. It really helps keep you full but not actually gross full. Keep eating breakfast too and stay hydrated. That's the advice I can give. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, I appreciate the advice. :) I did end up binging horribly last night, probably from eating so little/badly the rest of the day. One of my dad's conditions for going vegetarian is researching how to get my protein, iron, etc, so I am trying to keep that at a healthy level. And water, lots of water.
DeleteGreat job on the calories. Just remember that after a few days on calories that low, you will end up binge eating and there's not much you can do about that because the body just kind of takes over. Try not to beat yourself up overly much if/when that does happen. It's self defeating...
